Veal Medallions - Mahy Farms
New Zealand grown Veal from 6 month old calves, milk and grain fed. The calves are raised and fed initially on their mothers first milk and then grain fed. This grain is a highly kept secret of the farmers which reflects in their growth and fantastic tenderness and flavor. The calves are housed in very large clean open air barns with sawdust and straw floors, access to feed and plenty of fresh clean water.
Rub with your favourite olive oil, season with salt and peper and a quick pan fry will suffice... just like you would cook your favourite steak!
