     Ruby's Home Dinner Club March Dinner - from your Online Butcher!

    This month’s Dinner Club was held in Taupo on Sat 3rd March for Ironman competitor Mike Roigard, proudly and loudly supported by his wife Debbie, 5 yr old daughter Kate and many family and friends. Athletes from 35 different countries including Australia, the US and Europe took on the Kiwi talent in search of glory. Whilst the Ironman event was cancelled due to bad weather, a half Ironman event ran the following day in contrasting glorious weather.
    Here what Debbie sent us:
    “At 5 pm the BBQ kicked off –this was our main social event, a gathering planned to celebrate Mike’s first Ironman with good food and fine wine, however, Mother Nature changed that for us with the cancellation of the full Ironman. Instead it was a dinner to celebrate the coming together of good friends, food and wine!
    We fed the kids early with some divine Ruby’s List Free Range Chicken and little boy sausages. Kids can sometimes be fussy eaters but not this time, they loved them which meant there were no leftovers for us to graze on. Not to worry the best was yet to come.
    The ‘big kids’ started with the Veal sausages, which were the best sausages I have ever eaten followed by barbecued Sirloin steaks that cut like butter and melted like it in our mouths with oven cooked free range chicken and fresh salads. As far as protein goes Mike couldn’t have gotten any better meat and I’m sure that’s why he did so well on race day.
    We just wanted to send a big thanks to everyone at Ruby’s List for their support and to say that without doubt your meat is certainly some of the very best we have tasted. We wish you the very best and I’m looking forward to receiving my order which I placed as soon as I got home!    Tell all your friends, share it on Face book.
