If this is your first time ordering meat online, welcome!
However, you may be wondering about the process.

With modern effective processing and transportation you can now order meat online, it can arrive to your door as fresh as the day it was packaged. When you order your meat from Ruby's List your products have been professionally prepared and packaged in order to ensure maximum freshness and quality.  


How do you deliver a perishable product?

We have tested and trialled our packaging to ensure all your products arrive in pristine condition. All products will be shipped to you in polystyrene boxes (the best option available and recyclable), with cold packs to keep the temperature stable.
 

Do I have to be home to recieve my order?

No we can leave your delivery at your chosen safe drop off point e.g. on the porch.   However we recommend you have the delivery made to your place of work if the unattended address is not secure.
 

If my product or selected frozen products arrive partially defrosted, are they still good?

Yes, as long as the product feels cool to the touch and is under 4 degrees Celsius, the quality is not diminished, and you can refrigerate then until you are ready to cook. Please call us on 0800 782975 to discuss your items shelf life once defrosted.


How long can you freeze meat for?

For maximum quality we recommend freezing your meat for no longer than 6 months.


Can I change my details, delivery address and credit card?

Yes. We do all we can to accommodate your preferences, just sign in and change your details through your account information, or click the email link to contact us.


What form of payment do you accept and online payment security?

Online orders may be purchased with Visa or Mastercard.  Always use a secure browser connection when entering credit card details online. By purchasing off www.rubylsit.co.nz your payments are processed through our online secure system and we do not store or have access to your credit card number or details. You can check that an SSL (lock) symbol is shown in the bottom right of your browser window and that the site has a URL that starts with "https".


What confirmation do I receive when I place my order?

You will receive a confirmation email sent immediately after placing your online order with the product and cost included.  On arrival of your order there will be a packing slip/invoice attached for further confirmation.  For any inquiries in regards to your order please click the contact us link and we will follow this up.


 

Recycling - How can we help?

We are pleased to tell you the manufacturers of our poly bins can recycle these used bins into new alternative products hence reducing our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. So feel freeto drop off your used poly bins and we will recycle them for you - all part of the service.  We are Located at: Unit 2, 84 - 90 Hillside Road, Wairau Valley, North Shore, Auckland.
 



How do our vouchers work

One voucher per/order, per/customer is allowed with a minimum spend of $100.00 to qualify. Please use the code on the voucher within the three month period specified.
